Alejandra is a photographer and visual artist born in 1998 in Bogotá, Colombia, who graduated in Visual Communication at Bauhaus Universität Weimar. She has developed several projects in Latin America and Europe, which have led her to build her vision and first approaches to gender and territory issues. Her focuses are documentary photography and storytelling.
In her photographic work, she has had the opportunity to explore the life of female-headed households in Havana, Cuba, the father's absence in Latin America, and the meaning of home and belonging in a foreign context.
Currently, she is based in Dortmund, Germany.
