Alejandra is a photographer born 1998 in Bogotá, Colombia, graduated of Visual Communication at Bauhaus Universität Weimar. Her focuses are documentary photography and storytelling.
With the participation in different spaces for photographic reflection and intercultural exchanges such as “Múltiples Miradas” in Havana, Cuba (2015), “20 Fotógrafos México”(2016) or Canon Student Development Programme in Visa pour l’image in (2019), she begins to build her vision and first approach to gender and territory issues.
In her artistic training, she has had the opportunity to work on different projects in multiple countries in Latin America and Europe. She explores the life of female-headed households in Havana until the meaning of home and belonging in a foreign context.
She is currently based in Weimar, Germany.
